Today was all about new beginnings for the Olympic gold medalist and reality TV star formerly known as Bruce Jenner. She made quite the introduction today when she announced her new name, Caitlyn, AND revealed the first look at her upcoming Vanity Fair cover. The photos were shot by famed photographer Annie Leibovitz at her house in Malibu. The issue hits newsstands on June 9th.

Jenner also solidified her social media presence on Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram. Following a brave interview with Diane Sawyer that aired in April and drew almost 17 million viewers, today's debut marks the start of a new chapter in Jenner's life. Transitioning in the public eye hasn't been easy – hell, getting coffee isn't even easy with that many people scrutinizing your every move.
