Netflix's new original film, "Beasts of No Nation," looks amazing. A family gets torn apart by a civil war, leaving a young boy to join a group of mercenaries and becomes a soldier. Starring Idris Elba (Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom) as a African warlord who rules an army of children.

Directed by Cary Fukunaga the mastermind that directed the first season of "True Detective." This looks like another home run.

"Beasts of No Nation" will be available in select theaters and on Netflix October 16.
