This almost sounds like a joke — if it was 2013…

With the emergence of Steph Curry's insane 2 MVP seasons in the NBA, kids are now gravitating towards Curry's shoe line Under Armour. Rapper Lil Fizz tells LMNO L.A. that his son is a huge Curry fan and wants The Curry 2s more than Jordans, Nikes, Adidas all that (you get the picture).

But what looks like a small dent in the Nike brand, this small info from Fizzo makes me believe that UA may become the next large athletic apparel brand in the future. If 6 year olds are now telling their fathers to get them Under Armor rather than a Jordan 4, the youth — who will eventually become the consumer — may make the once struggling company turn into a juggernaut.

Also don't forget Golf, kids. 22 year old Jordan Spieth is also an Under Armour athlete.

Here comes the take over Nike. Get fuckin' ready.
